It's flu shot season. Make a plan now to get your flu shot.
Flu shots are available for all patients 6 months and older. Like all vaccines, it takes 2-3 weeks after vaccination for a vaccine to be fully effective so plan to get vaccinated by no later than Halloween.
We have several options for getting your child vaccinated:
- Flu vaccine can be given at your child’s well visit if they have one in early fall
- Walk-in flu shots are available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-5 Starting September 12 and running through October 26 and continuing on Tuesdays only from 3-5 through the month of November
- A drive-through flu shot clinic will occur (rain or shine) on Sunday October 1; you must preregister for this option.
- A flu shot clinic will also run from 8-4:30 on Monday, Oct 9 (Columbus Day); you must also preregister for this option.
