We thank you for reviewing the following important office information. We appreciate your attention to these policies.

Appointments

Appointments can be made during regular office hours. Most visits are by appointment, however, we do offer limited walk-in hours for urgent appointments.  Appointments for routine check-ups (not sick visits) may be scheduled through our secure patient portal.

Walk-ins are accepted from 7:15 am - 9 am and 4 pm - 5 pm Monday - Friday.  These visits are for acute issues and only open to previously established patients in our office.

Our office hours are:

Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday 8:15 am to 11:30 am (urgent issues that cannot wait until Monday)

Phone lines open at 7:30 am weekdays and 8:15 am weekends

Late Arrivals

The physicians and staff of Pediatrics of Northeastern Pennsylvania work very hard to maintain a timely schedule. We value your time and that of all of our families. If you are more than 20 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.

No Show appointments

It is our office policy that a not showing for a scheduled appointment will result in a 35.00 fee. We kindly request 24 hour notice of cancellation so that we may use that slot for another family. Repeated no show visits, may result in termination from the practice.

After Hours & Emergency Care

If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911 or head to the nearest emergency room.

A physician is on call for urgent matters that cannot wait until normal office hours. You will find useful information by using our link to Healthy Children.org for most childhood illnesses and conditions.

Prescription Renewals

Prescriptions are renewed only during normal office hours. In some instances, we may require that patient be seen in our office prior to medication renewal. You may use our secure portal for refill requests or contact us by phone.

Financial

All office visits are payable at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards and debit cards. Please review our financial policy for more details or contact our billing office should you have any financial questions or concerns.
