Timothy Welby, MD, FAAP

Timothy Welby, M.D. graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Scranton and received a medical degree from Temple University, Philadelphia. He completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he served as Chief Resident. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He also serves on the clinical faculty of the Commonwealth Medical College. Dr. Welby resides in Scranton with his wife Gretchen and 3 daughters.

Kate Tigue, MD, FAAP

A native of Avoca, Dr Tigue graduated Magna cum laude from Kings College and graduated from Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at the University of Rochester, Rochester NY and is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Additionally, Dr. Tigue is a member of the clinical faculty of the Commonwealth Medical College. She lives in Clarks Summit with her husband and three children.

John Marx, MD, FAAP

John Marx, M.D. was born and raised in Scranton. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences and a Masters of Physical Therapy from The University of Scranton. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital, Hershey Medical Center. He is married to Megan and they have three children. Dr. Marx is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He also sereves on the clinical faculty of the Commonwealth Medical College.

Debra S. Georgetti, MD, FAAP

Debra S. Georgetti, MD a Scranton native, graduated cum laude from the University of Scranton. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, and completed a pediatric residency at St Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Since her residency completion she has been in private practice in the Scranton area. Dr. Georgetti is board certified in pediatrics, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She also serves on the clinical facility of The Commonwealth Medical College. Dr Georgetti resides in Scranton with husband Dominick and their four children.

April L. Troy, MD, MPH, FAAP

April L Troy, M.D. M.P.H. is a native of Avoca. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton and received both her medical degree and Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Children's National Medical Center, in Washington, D.C. After completing her residency, she worked in the Emergency Room at Children's National Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Troy resides in South Abington Township with her husband Brad and their son. She currently serves as the Pediatric Regional Education Coordinator for The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton and is a member of the Commonwealth Medical College's clinical faculty.
